Utility Metals in Louisville, KY is hiring a 1st Shift Press Brake Operator to set up, adjust, and operate press brake machinery to bend and form heavy-duty steel components for industrial storage products. • Inspect finished components using calipers, squares, and tape measures to ensure quality.
• Perform routine machine maintenance and maintain a clean, safe workstation.

1st Shift Press Break Operator: Monday through Thursday 6:00am to 4:30pm

What We're Looking For:

We are seeking a reliable and motivated Press Brake Operator to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for setting up, adjusting, and operating press brake machinery to bend, shape, and form heavy-duty American steel components for our industrial storage products. You will read technical blueprints, select the proper tooling, and conduct rigorous quality checks to ensure our products maintain their signature "obsessively overbuilt" standard. This position requires strong technical aptitude, attention to detail, physical stamina, and an uncompromising commitment to safety.

Requirements

• Ability to lift heavy steel objects and stand for long periods of time.
• Must be able to read engineering drawings/blueprints, a standard tape measure, and perform accurate mathematical calculations.
• Strong mechanical and technical aptitude with manual or CNC machinery.
• Work environment is a non-temperature-regulated facility with moderate to loud noise levels.
• Must pass a drug screen, physical, and criminal background check.
