Job summary

Strong Hold in Louisville, KY is seeking a reliable 2nd shift Machine Operator. From 5:00pm to 3:30am you will set up, adjust, and operate machinery to bend and form heavy-duty steel components for our cabinets, workstations, and carts.

You will read blueprints, select tooling, measure parts with calipers, squares and tapes, and maintain a clean, safe workstation while upholding our obsessively overbuilt quality standard.

Qualifications

• Ability to read engineering drawings/blueprints.
• Experience with sheet metal fabrication or press brakes preferred.
• Ability to lift heavy objects and stand for long periods.
• Able to pass drug, physical, and background checks.

Responsibilities

• Set up, adjust, and operate bending/forming equipment.

• Inspect finished components with measuring tools to ensure tolerances.

What We're Looking For:

We are seeking a reliable and motivated Machine Operator to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for setting up, adjusting, and operating machinery to bend, shape, and form heavy-duty American steel components for our industrial storage products. You will read technical blueprints, select the proper tooling, and conduct rigorous quality checks to ensure our products maintain our signature "obsessively overbuilt" standard. This position requires strong technical aptitude, attention to detail, physical stamina, and an uncompromising commitment to safety.

• Inspect finished components using measuring tools (calipers, squares, and tape measures) to ensure strict adherence to high-quality standards.
• Perform routine machine maintenance and ensure a clean, safe, and highly organized workstation.

Requirements

• Ability to lift heavy steel objects and stand for long periods of time.
• Must be able to read engineering drawings/blueprints, a standard tape measure, and perform accurate mathematical calculations.
• Strong mechanical and technical aptitude with manual or CNC machinery.
• Flexible: Work environment is a non-temperature-regulated facility with moderate to loud noise levels.
• Must pass a drug screen, physical, and criminal background check.
