Job summary

ExacTech Inc. in Sturgeon Bay, WI is looking for a Press Brake Operator to join our 1st shift team. You will run a computer‑controlled bending machine that shapes and forms various materials as part of a turnkey heavy fabrication group.

Responsibilities include adjusting machine parts, monitoring production, and completing quality checks while keeping a safe, clean environment. Experience reading blueprints and using a tape measure is a plus.

Qualifications

• Experience operating large manufacturing machines is desired.
• Strong technical and mechanical knowledge is invaluable.
• Reading blueprints and drawings is a plus.
• Ability to use a tape measure and convert measurements to decimals.
• Follow verbal and written work instructions.
• Regular attendance required.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Adjust machine parts to ensure correct speed, pressure, temperature and material usage for quality production.
• Monitor and control machines daily to meet production schedules.
• Perform daily quality checks and complete paperwork to maintain standards.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and well‑maintained work area; perform routine maintenance as time allows.
• Review work orders and instructions to determine required ingredients, machines, parts, and materials to fulfill orders to customer satisfaction.
• Engage in ongoing training to stay current with industry techniques, machines, and safety regulations.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, repair, and maintain assigned machines for quality and efficiency.
• Perform any other duties assigned.

Job Description

ExacTech Inc. in Sturgeon Bay, WI is looking to a Press Brake Operator to our first shift team. As part of a turnkey heavy fabrication team, you will run a computer-controlled machine that cuts, shapes, and bends, various materials.

1st shift: Monday-Thursday: 5:45AM-3:15PM; Friday: 6:45AM-10:45AM

Job Responsibilities

• Adjust machine parts as needed to ensure proper speed, pressure, temperature and amount of materials for quality production.
• Monitor and control machines on a daily basis to maintain daily and weekly production schedule.
• Complete quality checks and paperwork every day to maintain production and industry regulations and company standards.
• Make sure work environment remains safe, uncluttered, clean and well-maintained by performing maintenance and general janitorial duties throughout shift as time allows.
• Look over all work orders and instructions to see which ingredients, machines, parts and materials are needed to complete orders to full customer satisfaction.
• Engage in continuing education training and seminars to remain up-to-date on the latest industry techniques, machines, safety regulations and equipment.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, repair and maintain assigned machines and equipment as needed for maximum product quality and operational efficiency.
• All other duties and responsibilities that are assigned
