Fulcrum Technologies, Inc. is seeking a skilled Press Brake Operator to join our manufacturing team in Tualatin.

You will set up and operate press brake machines to bend and shape metal sheets, reading blueprints and work orders to determine settings, and inspecting parts for conformance to specifications. The role requires at least 2 years of press brake experience, knowledge of CAD software, and strong mechanical aptitude.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience operating press brake machines in manufacturing or metal fabrication.
• Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings with accuracy.
• Proficiency with precision measuring tools and inspection techniques.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate press brake machines to bend and shape metal parts per specs.
• Read blueprints and work orders to determine machine settings and tolerances.
• Inspect finished parts with calipers, micrometers, and gauges for quality.
• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshoot minor issues on machines.
• Maintain safety, log production and maintenance records, and follow procedures.
• Collaborate with engineers and QC to resolve production issues and improve efficiency.

Fulcrum Technologies, Inc. is a world-class leader in designing and manufacturing custom machine bases for vibration-sensitive production tools used in semiconductor fabrication.

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Press Brake Operator to join our manufacturing team. The Press Brake Operator will be responsible for setting up and operating press brake machines to bend and shape metal sheets and plates according to specifications. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, strong mechanical skills, and a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Set up and operate press brake machines to produce parts and tools from metal, ensuring precise bending, shaping, and cutting.
• Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and technical drawings to determine appropriate machine settings and production specifications.
• Inspect completed workpieces for conformance to specifications, using measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges, and make necessary adjustments to ensure quality standards are met.
• Perform routine maintenance on press brake machines, including cleaning, lubricating, and troubleshooting minor mechanical issues.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment. Report any safety hazards or equipment malfunctions to the supervisor.
• Maintain accurate records of production runs, machine settings, and maintenance activities. Complete necessary documentation for quality control and inventory management.
• Work closely with other team members, including engineers and quality control personnel, to resolve any production issues and improve overall efficiency.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience operating press brake machines in a manufacturing or metal fabrication environment.
• Knowledge of computer-aided design (CAD) software.
• High school diploma or equivalent. Technical training or certification in machine operation or metalworking is a plus.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Familiarity with various types of metal and their properties.
• Ability to use precision measuring instruments and tools.
• Ability to lift and move materials up to 60 pounds. Prolonged standing, bending, and reaching are required.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Previous experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
