Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience setting up and operating press brake machines.
• Proficient in blueprint reading, shop math, and measuring tools such as micrometers and calipers
• Ability to troubleshoot and problem-solve any issues with press brake machines
• Experience with Amada, Safan and/or Trumpf press brakes a plus
• Experience working in a sheet metal fabrication environment a plus
• Strong attention to detail and quality control
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC press brake machines to produce precision sheet metal parts according to customer specifications.
• Perform quality checks and measurements to ensure part tolerance.
• Conduct routine machine maintenance and tooling upkeep.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues with press brake equipment as needed.

TPI offers a wide range of services, including CNC machining and welding, as well as several product lines, such as coin-operated vending machines, car wash equipment, and inmate equipment.

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role located in Garland, Texas. The Press Brake Operator will be responsible for setting up and operating CNC press brake machines to produce precision sheet metal parts according to customer specifications. Additional responsibilities of the Press Brake Operator include quality control, machine maintenance, and tooling maintenance.
