Job description

Mazak Corporation is seeking a Press Brake Operator to join our Fabrication team at the Florence, KY production facility. The operator will use a Press Brake machine to form sheet metal to specified angles and shapes. This is a second shift position, working Monday through Thursday, from 3:30 PM to 2:30 AM.

Scope and Responsibilities:

1. Pull parts from baskets.
2. Form sheet metal to specified degrees according to blueprints.
3. Ensure all parts are correctly placed in baskets per plots and summaries.
4. Verify that the machine is in safe working condition daily.
5. Stand for long periods; lift up to 50 pounds as needed.

Education/Certification:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Technical or Vocational School diploma preferred.

Skills:

• Experience reading and interpreting blueprints.
• Knowledge of protractors and gauges.
• Experience with CNC machines is a plus.
• Attention to detail and safety consciousness.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
