Legacy Talent Search is currently seeking candidates for a Press Brake Operator role in Canby, OR. Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate and set up press brake machines to bend and form metal parts according to specifications and blueprints.
  • Monitor machine operations to ensure precision, quality, and adherence to production schedules.
  • Perform quality checks on formed parts to ensure accuracy and compliance with tolerances and standards.
  • Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work area in compliance with workplace safety standards.
  • Load and unload materials, ensuring proper handling and accurate inventory tracking.
  • Collaborate with team members to meet daily production goals and troubleshoot any operational challenges.
  • Accurately document production processes, including machine settings and output data.
  • Participate in routine maintenance and cleaning of press brake equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Promptly report any equipment malfunctions, quality issues, or safety hazards to supervisors.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; prior experience as a press brake operator or in metal fabrication is preferred.
  • Ability to lift up to 50+ lbs and stand for extended periods in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
  • Excellent teamwork, communication, and collaboration skills.
  • Flexibility to work swing shifts, including evenings and weekends, as required.
  • Knowledge of metal fabrication techniques and safety regulations is a plus, but training will be provided.
