R&M Manufacturing in Buffalo, MN is seeking a Press Brake Operator to set up, operate, and maintain a press brake machine. You will read blueprints, adjust settings, and inspect parts to ensure quality.

This full-time role requires precision, mechanical aptitude, and strict safety adherence in a manufacturing setting. The position offers 1st shift (5:00 AM - 3:30 PM), a 4-day work week (Mon-Thu), and pay ranges from $21.00 to $30.00 per hour depending on experience.

Qualifications

• Accurately work with calipers, squares, gauges, protractors and other measuring tools.
• Have good math ability and problem-solving skills.
• Read and interpret blueprints efficiently.

Responsabilités

• Set up and operate press brake machines to bend, shape, and form sheet metal to specifications.
• Set stops on machine beds, change dies, and adjust components for multiple passes.
• Measure completed workpieces to verify conformance using micrometers, gauges, calipers, or rulers.
• Read work orders or blueprints to determine specifications, materials, locations of cutting lines, or dimensions and tolerances.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area at all times.
• Other related duties as required

Job Overview: A Press Brake Operator is responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining a press brake machine to bend, shape, and form metal materials according to specifications. They read blueprints, adjust machine settings, and inspect finished products to ensure quality and accuracy. The role requires attention to detail, mechanical aptitude, and adherence to safety procedures in a manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate press brake machines to bend, shape, and form sheet metal to specifications

• Set stops on machine beds, change dies, and adjust components, such as rams or power presses, when making multiple or successive passes
• Measure completed workpieces to verify conformance to specifications, using micrometers, gauges, calipers, or rulers
• Read work orders or blueprints to determine specifications, such as materials to be used, locations of cutting lines, or dimensions and tolerances

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area at all times

• Other related duties as required

• Perform physical actions which may include frequent bending, twisting, reaching, walking, consistent standing, and the ability to lift/carry and push/pull objects
