Job summary

Smurfit Westrock is seeking an entry- to mid-level press support role in Lithia Springs, GA. You will assist a team of press operators, help with setup, repair, operation and maintenance of a flexographic press, and ensure efficient make-readies for multicolor printing.

The role emphasizes following safety procedures, maintaining equipment, and coordinating with maintenance and other departments. A high school diploma or GED and basic computer skills are required, with overtime possible during

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Basic computer skills required.
• Ability to perform basic arithmetic.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules and operating instructions.
• Must maintain good attendance.

Responsibilities

• Set up, adjust, maintain, and operate the flexographic press when needed.
• Assist with material changeovers and ensure correct materials are ready for production.
• Assist with cleaning, lubrication and minor adjustments to maintain production quality.
• Support press operator with preventative maintenance and safety procedures.
• Move loads of stock and assist other departments as required.
• Complete required documentation and follow standard operating procedures.
