Phoenix Color in Hagerstown, MD, is seeking a reliable Press Assistant/Feeder to support our high-speed printing presses. You will assist with press setup, monitor inks and inline chemicals, and read job tickets to ensure materials meet customer specifications.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Mechanical aptitude and ability to read a standard ruler.

Responsibilities

• Press Setup Support: assist the lead operator with basic press setups, including loading paper, hanging plates, and preparing blankets.
• Supply & Chemistry Management: monitor, mix, and maintain inks, chemicals, and inline solutions.
• Job Ticket Interpretation: read and follow tickets to ensure materials match customer specs.
• Quality & Production Targets: help crew meet daily production goals and quality standards.
• Maintenance & Housekeeping: perform routine machine maintenance and keep area clean and safe.
