Job summary

RRD Company in Angola, IN is seeking a Printing and Bindery Specialist for the 3rd shift. This role supports a constant workflow by loading paper and raw materials, adjusting feeders, and moving plates and components to keep the press running smoothly.

As a team member, you will follow on-the-job training to learn press setup, operation, and maintenance, operate hand carts and hydraulic feeds, and help prepare make-ready tasks to ensure quality production with reliability and safety in mind.

Qualifications

• Requires basic knowledge of presswork procedures and materials learned through on the job training.
• Ability to follow instructions to assist in press set up, operation and maintenance.
• Able to operate hand carts, pallet jacks, stackers, and hydraulic feed mechanisms.

Responsibilities

• Ensure paper or raw materials (inks, glues, etc.) are loaded into feeders, hoppers, bins, etc. to supply a constant flow of materials while the equipment is running.
• Make adjustments to equipment such as feeder mechanism based on the size of the paper.
• Deliver equipment components such as plates or spray heads to the equipment for installation.
• Recycle old/discarded plates.
• Provide basic assistance as needed to make-ready the equipment for operation.
• Assist with retrieving plates, hanging plates and recylcling/storing plates and other tasks associated with make-ready of the plates.

Therate of pay for this role at the noted location is $18.20 per hour. In addition to base pay, depending on the role, the total compensation package may also include overtime, shift differential $2 more for 2nd shift, call-in, and stand-by pay.
