Qualifications

• High School Diploma / GED required; technical training or college a plus.
• One year minimum experience in press operation is preferred.
• Ability to read and understand blueprints and engineering work instructions.
• Mechanical ability and manual dexterity to work with parts and tools.

Responsibilities

• Set-up, adjust, and operate hydraulic and mechanical punch press equipment to blank, punch and form parts.
• Adjust ram stroke to form materials to proper angle and radii.
• Read drawings, specifications, patterns, or templates.
• Use gauges and measuring tools to verify dimensions.
• Move raw material between areas and maintain orderly work area.
• Train less experienced operators in safe setup and operation techniques.
• Collaborate with team and provide feedback to improve processes.
