Pitney Bowes is hiring a Presort Associate 1 in Aurora, IL for full-time, day shift. You will be trained to prepare outgoing permit and metered mail, review postage and barcodes, and ensure quality before dispatch. The role requires lifting up to 50 lbs, reliability, and good communication.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Must be able to walk, stand, stoop, and bend 80% of the time.
• Basic understanding of English to follow directions.

Responsibilities

• Prepare outgoing mail with correct date, postage, and barcodes.
• Identify and communicate errors or bad barcodes.
• Troubleshoot and clear mail piece jams.
• Monitor mail quality before processing and before dispatch.
• Understand USPS labels and bin/tray numbering.
• Follow Quality Management System practices to assure output quality.
• Ensure equipment is functioning properly on the sorter.
• Assist with inbound/outbound mail processing.
• Be aware of acceptance times and truck departures.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area; meet SLAs.
