Stony Brook University seeks an Associate Director of Executive Communications for Advancement to serve as the lead writer and communications strategist for presidential materials related to the Advancement division.

Reporting to the Director of Executive Communications, the role develops speeches, remarks, correspondence, and strategic messaging that articulate the president’s priorities and advance fundraising objectives.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Four (4) years of full-time experience in communications for executive leadership in higher education or related sectors.
• Experience writing for presidential leadership or donor audiences.

Responsabilidades

• Lead writer for presidential communications, crafting speeches and remarks.
• Develop strategic messaging aligning with Advancement goals and priorities.
• Collaborate with Advancement to ensure consistency in fundraising communications and events.
• Support reputational management and sensitive communications with discretion.
