Charter Research in Orlando, FL is seeking a Prescreen Coordinator to join our clinical research team. You will assess potential new patients for trial placement during their first visit and serve as the primary contact for new participants.

Must be fluent in Spanish and possess strong interpersonal and customer service skills. Experience in clinical research, customer service, sales, or hospitality preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct prescreens with patients for actively enrolling and upcoming trials.
  • Provide subjects with study information.
  • Complete data entry from each visit in electronic clinical trials management system.
  • Ensure compliance with SOPs, FDA, ICH, and GCP regulations for clinical conduct in all aspects of daily work.
  • Conduct outgoing recruitment calls and answer inbound calls as needed.
  • Participate in community outreach programs as needed.
  • Maintain a “One Team” approach to trial success.
  • To maintain healthy patient flow and ensure the success of all trials, team members may be temporarily reassigned to patient engagement or clinic responsibilities, as appropriate. This flexibility is essential to meeting our contractual obligations and ensuring a seamless experience for all trial participants.
  • Perform other duties as needed.

POSITION OVERVIEW

Prescreen Coordinators work as part of the clinical research team and assess potential new patients for optimal trial placement upon their first visit to the research clinic. Prescreen Coordinators are the primary contact for new patients. This position requires knowledge of current clinical research studies and prescreening processes.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Conduct prescreens with patients for actively enrolling and upcoming trials.
  • Provide subjects with study information.
  • Complete data entry from each visit in electronic clinical trials management system.

  • Must possess a high degree of urgency and self-motivation and have a strong work ethic.
LANGUAGE
  • Must be fluent in Spanish, both spoken and written.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
  • Professional experience in clinical research, customer service, sales, or hospitality preferred.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift-up to 15 pounds at times.
