Job summary

Circle of Friends Child Development Center in Fairfield, CA seeks a Teacher Assistant to support Preschool and Toddler classrooms. The role focuses on safe, organized environments and direct support to lead teachers.

You'll assist with daily routines, supervise children, and foster positive relationships with families while meeting ECE CORE unit requirements. Full-time and part-time positions available.

Qualifications

• Desire to make a difference in the lives of children and families.
• Minimum of 12 ECE CORE Units.
• Experience with Quality Care is a plus.
• Professional, positive attitude.
• Classroom duties include helping children with eating, diapering/toileting, cleaning, and logs; comply with Circle of Friends and Community Care License.
• Must be able to stand for long periods and lift up to 40 lbs in an emergency.
• Loving demeanor with children and CPR certification.
• All candidates must pass a national criminal background check.
• Fluency and clear communication in English.
