Fairmont Schools Inc in Dayton, Ohio is seeking an ISP Preschool Teacher Assistant to support the lead teacher in delivering a safe, engaging early learning program. You will help implement daily lesson plans, supervise children, and prepare materials to support hands-on activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Preschool Education (required).
• TKT Training Course completed.
• Prior experience working with young children in educational or care settings preferred.

Responsabilités

• Support lead teacher by implementing daily lesson plans and activities aligned with curriculum.
• Supervise children during classroom activities, meals, and outdoor play for safety and positive behavior.
• Assist with behavior management and guide social-emotional development.
• Prepare learning materials and organize classroom resources for hands-on learning.
• Maintain a clean, safe environment and sanitize toys and surfaces as needed.
• Provide individualized support to children needing extra help or emotional support.
• Observe and report on children's development and communicate concerns to the lead teacher.
• Assist with daily routines and transitions to foster independence.
• Model respectful and inclusive behavior to promote a positive classroom culture.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure consistency in teaching practices.
