Description of the role:

We are seeking highly qualified Preschool Teachers to work with children ages two to 5 years old at Kiddie Academy. The role involves teaching and preparing young children for Kindergarten and beyond, requiring patience and a love for children.

Kiddie Academy's curriculum is called Life Essentials.

Kiddie Academy Educational Childcare

The responsibilities include implementing best practices, Kiddie Academy curriculum, health and safety procedures, and preschool educational methods. Teachers will create a conducive learning environment with a predictable daily schedule and routines, engaging children with age-appropriate activities that promote learning and growth. Building trust and creating a nurturing environment are essential for children's emotional and mental development. Teamwork and meaningful connections are emphasized.

Requirements:

Qualified candidates must have knowledge of preschool educational methods, the ability to engage children, and possess patience and love for children.

Education and Certification Requirements:

• A permit issued by the Commission on Teacher Credentialing for service in a child care and development program, such as:
• Regular Children’s Center Instructional Permit
• Limited Children’s Center Instructional Permit
• Emergency Children’s Center Instructional Permit
• Child Development Master Teacher Permit
• Child Development Teacher Permit
• Child Development Associate Teacher Permit (supervisory rights included)
• OR a current credential from the Commission on Teacher Credentialing for elementary teaching or a single subject credential in home economics, plus 12 units in ECE/CD or two years’ experience in early childhood education or child care.
