Job summary

Mercy Hospital South Child Care Center is seeking a dedicated Teacher to develop and implement age-appropriate curricula, support exploration and play, and supervise a classroom. The role focuses on nurturing, safety, and positive relations with children and staff.

Full-time position with a 40-hour work week. A $1,000 sign-on bonus is offered and opportunities to contribute to a caring, collaborative team within Mercy’s mission and values.

Qualifications

• Educational background in early childhood or related field.
• Must complete at least 12 clock hours of child-care training annually.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills; knowledge of developmentally appropriate practice.
• Two years of experience with degree preferred.
