Preschool Teacher

Our Lady of Hope School is seeking an enthusiastic and experienced preschool teacher for its morning three-year-old class, starting in the fall of 2025. The ideal candidate will have two or more years of experience and be certified in early childhood education.

Responsibilities and qualifications include:

  • Collaborative work relationship with the rest of the preschool and school staff
  • Creating, planning and implementing engaging, developmentally-appropriate lessons and learning activities
  • Proactive and professional communication with school families, including weekly newsletters
  • Maintaining a safe learning environment, including cleaning of supplies and classroom
  • Developing a classroom environment in which cooperation, friendship skills, respect, and joy in learning can flourish
  • Maintaining documentation of student progress

The three-year-old class will run Monday through Friday from 8:20 – 11:30am. This position is part-time, 7:30am-12n. However, there may be opportunities for additional hours performing other duties throughout the school.

Salary:
Salary for this position begins at $21/hour and is dependent on qualifications and years of experience. Any offered salary is determined based on internal equity, internal salary ranges, market data, applicant's skills and prior relevant experience, degrees and certifications.

Benefits:
Benefits are not offered for employees under 30 hours per week. If the position increases to over 30 hours per week, medical/dental/vision insurance, paid time off and retirement benefits are offered.
