Job summary

Early Care and Education: Coppell is seeking enthusiastic and caring Pre‑K support teachers for our after‑school program and STEM Station. You will work Monday to Friday with shifts from 2:00 PM to 6:30 PM, serving infants through elementary-aged students in a caring, play‑based learning environment.

The role emphasizes safety, developmentally appropriate activities, and strong communication with children and families. Experience with young children and a Texas driver’s license are valued.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid Texas driver’s license and willingness to drive a mini bus (after‑school teachers only).
• Experience working with young children.
• Ability to bend, stoop, and run to keep up with active young children.
• Strong communication and interaction skills with children and parents.
• Compassion, respect, and patience for young children.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe, healthy, and nurturing classroom environment.
• Implement a developmentally appropriate curriculum that promotes social, emotional, physical, and cognitive growth.
• Document attendance records, food program compliance, developmental milestones, accident reports, and daily communication with parents.
• Use positive guidance techniques through the implementation of Conscious Discipline.
• Collaborate respectfully and professionally with other team members to ensure the success of the children and the school family.

We are seeking enthusiastic and caring teachers who can serve as positive role models for our infants, preschool‑aged children, and elementary‑aged students in our after‑school program, STEM Station. We are specifically looking for Pre‑K support teachers to join our Pre‑K program and help close these programs. Monday to Friday, with more shifts available if needed.
