Job summary

Great Hearts Academies in Scottsdale, AZ, seeks a Teacher for Young Hearts Preschool to support the Lead Teacher with teaching, supervision, assessment, and parent communication. The role reports to the School Director of Young Hearts Preschool.

This position requires a CDA or higher and 6 months to 1 year of licensed preschool experience. Strong communication, teamwork, and MS Office skills are valued in a fast-paced educational setting.

Qualifications

• CDA or higher preferred.
• 6 months to 1 year of experience in a licensed preschool program.
• Strong communication and organizational skills required.

Responsibilities

• Follow quality assurance measures to maintain excellence of program offerings, operations, and state licensure.
• Work with Lead Teacher to achieve and maintain NAEYC accreditation.
• Maintain regular communications with Lead Teacher, School Director, and Assistant Director.
• Escalate incident reports to the School Director.
• Partner to maintain a safe environment.
• Adhere to Great Hearts/Young Hearts policies, procedures, and business initiatives.
• Attend monthly meetings.
• Work with Lead Teacher in utilizing The Creative Curriculum and Gold Strategies to execute lessons and assessments.
• Cultivate and maintain relationships with students, parents, co-workers, and academy staff.
• Additional duties and projects as assigned.
