Job summary

Cadence Education Weston, MA is seeking a Preschool Teacher to support daily classroom operations under the direction of the School Director and Lead Teacher. You will create a safe, nurturing environment, implement Cadence programs, and foster positive relationships with children and families.

Qualifications

• Ability to consistently follow safety procedures (Name-to-Face accountability, allergy processes, feeding, Safe Sleep).
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a classroom team.
• Ability to read, write, and speak effectively in English.
• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred.
• Must meet state licensing qualifications for Teacher in licensed childcare center.

Responsibilities

• Support a positive, inclusive classroom environment with dignified, respectful care.
• Greet children and families and establish professional relationships.
• Respond to individual developmental, behavioral, cultural, and learning needs, including IEPs and behavior plans.
• Assist in planning and implementing developmentally appropriate curriculum and Cadence programs.
• Communicate professionally with families, coworkers, and leadership using approved tools.
• Follow Cadence Safety and Supervision Manual and document incidents as required.
• Assist in managing and escalating child behaviors per Cadence policies.
• Participate in required meetings, trainings, and professional development.
