Qualifications & Qualities

1. Fully qualified Preschool Teacher with a minimum of 12 ECE units
2. Minimum of 6 months of work experience in a licensed childcare facility
3. Excellent communication and written skills
4. Team player, positive role model, strong work ethic and take-charge attitude
5. Strong customer service skills with an ability to build strong relationships with parents & co-workers
6. Self-motivated, responsible, driven and works well with minimal supervision
7. Organized with good time management skills, independent, creative, fun-loving and kind

General Responsibilities:

1. Follow and implement pre-developed lessons plans
2. Maintain appropriate records
3. Maintain a clean, healthy, stimulating environment for the children to learn in
4. Provide proper supervision at all times
5. Teach and guide the children in their classroom
6. Work independently and with other teachers
7. Update parents about their child’s progress
8. Communicate necessary information to the child, other teachers, parents, the Director or authorities

• $16-26 per hour (depending on experience/ suitability)

Requirements:

1. 6 - 12 units of Early Childhood Education (on lower end must be still enrolled in classes)
2. First Aid and CPR certified / Negative TB test and immunization records
3. Positive attitude toward learning, communicating, parents, and children
4. Understanding of educational techniques and methods for teaching young children
