Job summary

Merryhill Preschool is seeking a dedicated preschool teacher to design and deliver engaging lessons that promote early literacy, exploration, and critical thinking. The role runs 8:30 AM–5:30 PM, Monday–Friday, with a focus on play-based learning, independence, and collaboration with families.

You must be at least 18, have a High School Diploma or GED, Colorado Shines PDIS Level 2+, and at least 6 months of licensed childcare teaching experience.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Have a High School Diploma or GED.
• Colorado Shines PDIS Level 2 or higher.
• Minimum of 6 months prior teaching experience in a licensed childcare center.
• A nurturing personality with patience, flexibility, and a genuine love for working with babies.
• Authorization to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Must be available to work 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM, Monday through Friday.
• Design and deliver engaging lessons that promote exploration, early literacy, and critical thinking.
• Encourage independence and collaboration through hands-on, play-based learning.
• Build strong, positive relationships with children and their families.
• Partner with fellow teachers and school leaders to create a warm, inclusive classroom environment.
• Support the school community through teamwork, creativity, and a shared passion for excellence.
