Job summary

Cadence Education in Wareham, MA is seeking a passionate Preschool Teacher to support daily classroom operations, implement Cadence programs, and create a safe, nurturing environment for children including those with IEPs.

Under the direction of the School Director and Lead Teacher, you will greet families, support curriculum delivery, document incidents, and participate in trainings while upholding licensing requirements.

Qualifications

• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred.
• Must meet state licensing qualifications for a Teacher in a licensed childcare center.
• Ability to obtain background clearances and health screenings.

Responsibilities

• Support a positive, inclusive classroom environment.
• Greet children and families daily and build welcoming relationships.
• Assist in planning and implementing developmentally appropriate curriculum and Cadence Signature Programs.
• Communicate professionally with families, coworkers, and leadership.
• Follow the Cadence Education Safety and Supervision Manual and report incidents.
• Assist in managing and documenting child behaviors according to Cadence policies.
• Adhere to all Cadence Education policies and procedures in the Handbook.
• Attend meetings, trainings, and professional development as required.
