Since 1977, Child Crisis Arizona has been a symbol of hope, responding to the community's call to prevent and intervene in child abuse and neglect. We aim to provide children and youth in Arizona a safe environment, free from abuse and neglect, by creating strong and successful families.

Our Preschool programs are hiring Teacher I positions in our Early Education Services Department. We seek compassionate, energetic, and dependable individuals committed to creating a positive learning environment for children receiving services.

In this role, you will support classrooms at our Phoenix and Mesa sites, assisting teachers in providing a fun, safe, and secure environment. Your day will involve facilitating engaging activities, encouraging responsibility and independence, maintaining classroom organization, and supporting meal routines while documenting the CACFP meal program.

Qualifications

To be considered, you must have:

• Bilingual Spanish/English preferred but not required
• Child Development Associates Credential or equivalent
• 1 year of related experience
• A level one fingerprint clearance card or the ability to obtain one prior to starting

• Demonstrate sensitivity and cultural awareness
• Speak positively and respectfully to children, establishing routines based on trust
• Hold CPR & First Aid certification
• Possess a Food Handlers Card
