Job summary

Qualifications

• Background screening via Clearinghouse required.
• DCF background screening required.
• 45 hours DCF training required.
• Must have CDA or be working towards it.
• Preschool experience required.
• Early Childhood degree preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Keep learners safe at all times and follow emergency procedures.
• Communicate challenges and solutions to the Director.
• Provide a growth-focused environment for learners aged 3–5.
• Prepare engaging, hands-on lesson plans aligned to themes.
• Maintain schedules and unit/theme delivery for learning experiences.
• Follow posted schedule and use the Early Learning Coalition checklist.
