Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older with a high school diploma or GED.
• College coursework in early childhood education (preferred).
• 1 year of professional experience in child care/preschool (preferred).
• Demonstrated knowledge of developmentally appropriate practice (DAP) is required.

Responsibilities

• Create hands-on activities meeting the needs and interests of children.
• Maintain open communication with parents about daily milestones.
• Ensure a safe, clean classroom by following guidelines and procedures.
• Provide coverage in any classroom or age group across the center or nearby locations.
