Job summary

Bright Horizons is hiring a Teacher to enrich early childhood education for infants to preschoolers. You will create hands-on activities, communicate with parents about daily milestones, and maintain a safe, clean classroom following Bright Horizons’ policies.

Qualified candidates meet state education requirements, background checks, and MSDE certification. You may pursue a CDA or college degree at no cost, and a range of benefits accompanies this role in a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• State and company background checks required.
• 18 years of age or older with a high school diploma or GED.
• 1 year of professional teaching experience preferred.
• CDA, Associate or bachelor’s degree strongly preferred.
• Demonstrated knowledge of developmentally appropriate practice (DAP).
• Maryland licensing qualifications include MSDE 90 clock hour certification.

Responsibilities

• Create hands-on activities to meet children’s needs and interests.
• Maintain open communication with parents, sharing daily milestones.
• Ensure a safe and clean classroom by following essential procedures and guidelines.
