Job summary

Bright Horizons is hiring a Teacher in the Denver, CO area to deliver developmentally appropriate curriculum and supervise young children in a care setting. You will create hands-on activities aligned with children's interests and communicate progress with families.

Role requires background checks and adherence to Bright Horizons policies; the position is in-person at a Bright Horizons child care center and offers growth through our CDA & Degree programs.

Qualifications

• Must pass required state and company background checks.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• College-level coursework in early childhood education, CDA, or an associate or bachelor’s degree in early education or related field is preferred.
• 1 year of professional teaching experience preferred.
• Demonstrated knowledge of developmentally appropriate practice (DAP) is required.

Responsibilities

• Create hands-on activities to meet the needs and interests of the children.
• Maintain open communication with parents, sharing their child's daily milestones.
• Ensure a safe and clean classroom by following essential procedures and guidelines.
