Job summary

Bright Horizons in Golden, CO is seeking a Teacher to create hands-on activities, communicate with parents, and maintain a safe classroom following Bright Horizons policies. This hands-on role requires in-person work at our early education center and supports child development through structured activities and caregiving.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ with a high school diploma or GED.
• College coursework in early childhood education, CDA, or an associate/bachelor’s in early education or related field is preferred.
• Level 2 PDIS or higher is required.
• 1 year of professional experience teaching in child care, daycare, or preschool settings is preferred.
• Demonstrated knowledge of developmentally appropriate practice (DAP) is required.

Responsibilities

• Create hands-on activities to meet the needs and interests of the children.
• Maintain open communication with parents, sharing daily milestones.
• Ensure a safe and clean classroom by following essential procedures and guidelines.

Education

High school diploma or GED (required)

College coursework in early childhood education or CDA (preferred)

1 year of teaching experience in child care/preschool (preferred)
