Job summary

Bright Horizons is hiring full-time Teachers to work with preschoolers in a Bright Horizons center. The role emphasizes delivering developmentally appropriate activities, clear parent communication, and maintaining a safe, clean classroom in accordance with company standards.

The position requires 18+ with a HS diploma or GED; college coursework in ECE or CDA or an associate/bachelor’s degree is preferred, along with about 1 year of prior teaching experience.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older with a high school diploma or GED.
• College coursework in early childhood education, CDA, or an associate or bachelor’s degree in early education or related field preferred.
• 1 year of professional experience teaching in child care, daycare, or preschool settings preferred.
• Demonstrated knowledge of developmentally appropriate practice (DAP) required.

Responsibilities

• Create hands-on activities to meet the needs and interests of the children.
• Maintain open communication with parents, sharing their child’s daily milestones.
• Ensure a safe and clean classroom by following essential procedures and guidelines.
