Job summary

Bright Horizons is hiring a Preschool Teacher to work full-time with preschoolers. You will create hands-on activities, communicate progress with parents, and maintain a safe classroom while following Bright Horizons' policies and state requirements.

Applicants must meet state education requirements and pass background checks; 18+ with a HS diploma or GED is required, plus college coursework in early childhood education or a related degree and at least 1 year of teaching experience in child care

Qualifications

• Background checks as required by state and Bright Horizons
• Must be 18+ with a high school diploma or GED
• College coursework in early childhood education, CDA, or associate/bachelor degree in ECE or related field
• At least 1 year of professional experience teaching in child care, daycare, or preschool settings
• Knowledge of developmentally appropriate practice (DAP) for young children

Responsibilities

• Create hands-on activities tailored to children's needs and interests
• Maintain open communication with parents about daily milestones
• Ensure a safe, clean classroom by following procedures and guidelines
