Job summary

YMCA of Greater Charlotte is seeking a part-time Preschool Teacher at the Harris YMCA Preschool Academy in Charlotte, NC. You will create a safe, nurturing classroom and implement curriculum aligned with YMCA values, guiding young learners through cognitive and social development while maintaining strong relationships with families and staff.

The role requires at least 1 year of experience with young children, a high school diploma or equivalent, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience with young children.
• Strong classroom management and positive reinforcement skills.
• Excellent communication with children, families, and staff.
• Knowledge of child development principles and ability to adapt activities.

Responsibilities
