Job summary

Child Care Resource Center, Inc. (CCRC) seeks a Teacher to provide quality preschool services in the Early Care and Learning Program. You will implement age-appropriate practices, read DRDP data, and align with licensing standards.

Responsibilities include weekly lesson plans, assessments, and collaboration with families, while supporting administrative duties and non-federal match tracking in a busy Head Start context.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Early Education with 24+ semester units in Early Childhood Education and 3 units in Infant/Toddler Development.
• 2 years’ experience working with families and children in a preschool setting.
• First Aid and CPR certification required on hire or within 30 days.
• Teacher Permit or higher per California CTC; permit submission documentation acceptable if pending.
• Background check requirements per Head Start/CCP and related health clearance.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality preschool services in the Early Care and Learning Program.
• Submit weekly lesson plan goals for review and feedback.
• Collect observations for ongoing assessments to meet agency benchmarks.
• Read, analyze DRDP data to set center-specific goals.
• Ensure compliance with licensing, DCFS, IEP/IFSP processes.
• Assist with generating and tracking Non-Federal Match monthly.
• Attend meetings and professional development; support safety and parental involvement.
