Little Hands Preschool is a Christian preschool in Bergen NY. We're looking for a teacher who can join the staff this fall and become comfortable with the program and responsibilities before taking over as Director next year. This person will be responsible for the operation and leadership of the preschool program. Trains and supervises staff, sets instructional objectives and works to build a rapport with families.

Responsibilities

Including, but not limited to:

-Create teaching plans for daily instruction working actively with teachers to maintain high curriculum standards.

-Build and maintain rapport with parents/families, keeping communication a priority and addressing behavioral and developmental issues with students.

-Prepare and monitor budget. Working with the Board on setting appropriate tuition fees and awarding of scholarships.

-Organize and facilitate field trips, fundraisers and end of year celebrations.

-Maintain connection with church leadership.

Qualifications

NYS teaching certification preferred

Must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Should be proficient with office productivity software to support responsibilities.
