We’re excited to announce a new opportunity as we prepare to launch a private preschool in Fall 2025! We are seeking a passionate and creative individual to serve as a preschool teacher and/or director. Our preschool will integrate elements from the Reggio Emilia, HighScope, and Steiner Waldorf educational approaches to create a rich, child-centered learning environment. Candidates should be familiar with or eager to learn about these models and help integrate them effectively.

Job Description:

We are looking for a nurturing Preschool Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate enjoys creating lesson plans, building a new program, and contributing to a collaborative curriculum. Class Schedule:

• Tuesday & Thursday: Ages 4–5, 8:30 AM–11:30 AM
• Friday (optional/add-on): Ages 3–5, 8:30 AM–11:30 AM

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement preschool-appropriate lesson plans fostering social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development.
• Create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating environment encouraging exploration and curiosity.
• Provide individualized support to meet each child's needs.
• Build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues through effective communication.
• Assess children's progress and communicate development updates to parents.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe classroom environment.
• Participate in professional development to stay current with best practices in early childhood education.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field (or currently pursuing).
• Experience working with preschool children in a classroom setting.
• Understanding of child development principles and early childhood education theories.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Patience, empathy, and a passion for working with young children.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team.
