Job summary

Central Christian School is seeking an Early Education Teacher for the 2026–2027 school year to serve students ages 3–5 in our Early Learning program. The teacher will provide Christ-centered instruction and a nurturing classroom environment that supports early literacy, social-emotional development, and Christian character formation.

The role requires collaboration with families and staff, adherence to licensing standards, and a commitment to the school’s faith-based mission throughout the day.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher is required for teaching positions.
• Experience with children aged 3–5 years.
• Ability to support the mission and values of Central Christian School.
• Must meet Oregon EELD teacher qualification requirements for licensed programs.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement developmentally appropriate preschool lessons.
• Foster a safe, structured, nurturing classroom environment.
• Support social-emotional growth and early learning readiness.
• Maintain active supervision and classroom safety at all times.
• Communicate regularly with families about student progress.
• Collaborate with Early Education team and administration.
• Ensure compliance with licensing requirements and documentation.
