Qualifications

Program Statement: Inspiring brighter futures for children, families, and staff.

The Catholic Charities Early Learning/Head Start program provides high-quality, comprehensive services for children and families, including early learning education, professional development, family engagement, health and nutrition, and mental health and disabilities services. We serve children and families in five locations in Cuyahoga County. All sites are Gold Level SUTQ Rated.

Responsibilities include:

1. Create and deliver high-quality educational experiences using the Creative Curriculum for children aged 6 weeks to 5 years, ensuring their physical, mental, and emotional wellbeing.
2. Supervise children actively and engage in play across all classroom areas and curriculum components, including outdoor and gross motor activities, music, and movement.
3. Complete all educational documentation in education databases, maintaining compliance with federal, state, and Universal Pre-K regulations.

All staff are mandated reporters of known or suspected child abuse.
