Summary

Little Blessings Preschool is looking for a fun, energetic assistant teacher to join our team! We believe children learn best through play and encourage play in our day-to-day activity planning.

This position is part time in our Pre-K 3 room three days a week 8:30am-12:30pm! The assistant teacher is responsible for supporting the Lead Teacher with general supervision and management of children, assisting the teacher in providing a safe learning environment and implementing planned classroom activities to provide an educational, fun experience.

Duties

- Monitoring the students overall learning through and creating an environment to help

them reach their maximum potential and gain self-confidence by modeling and fun.

- Working in partnership with the Head Teacher to implement the annual curriculum while

leading indoor and outdoor enrichment activities.

- Providing guidance around developmentally appropriate practices, age-appropriate

milestones, and willingness to be an integral part of a child’s healthy growth and

development.

- Assisting with coordinating special events to help build the school community such as:

holiday celebrations, end of year programs, open houses, fundraisers, etc.

- Attending monthly Staff Meetings

Requirements

- High School Diploma and a minimum of 18 years of age.

- Possess or willing to obtain required trainings, including but not limited to: First Aid

Certification, CPR, medication administration.
