St. Maximilian Kolbe Catholic Preschool in Pembroke Pines, Florida, is seeking a full-time Preschool Assistant Teacher for the 2025-26 school year. The ideal candidate will be nurturing, creative, and dedicated, with the ability to develop lessons that foster critical thinking, design engaging instructions, and create thematic units. All duties must align with the mission, vision, and values of the Archdiocese of Miami.

Qualifications:

• CDA (Child Development Associate) or FCCPC (Florida Child Care Professional Credential) preferred.
• Completed Child Care Training.
• Universal Precautions/Exposure Plan course from DCF.
• Safe Sleep/Shaken Baby Syndrome Training.
• Current CPR certification.
• Ability to create a warm, welcoming environment for students and families.
• Hands-on approach to help children discover, learn, and solve problems critically.
• Good spelling and grammar skills.
• Effective oral and written English communication, including a clear speaking voice.
• Of good moral character, supportive of the mission and tenets of the Roman Catholic Church; experience in a Catholic environment is a plus.
