Job Description

Preschool Teacher Assistant Qualifications:

• High level of flexibility and willingness to work during business hours
• At least 6 months of experience as a preschool teacher assistant or in a licensed daycare
• Child Development Associate credential or college degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or related field preferred
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Must be at least 18 years old

Preschool Teacher Assistant Responsibilities:

As a Preschool Teacher Assistant, you’ll embrace the philosophy of Cadence Education by working as part of a team to foster a positive learning environment. You will document and share milestones with parents, collaborate with teachers and leaders to implement engaging, developmentally appropriate curriculum, respect children’s interests, ensure safety, and enhance children’s play with language, toys, and activities. You will also encourage social behavior, observe safety, and contribute ideas for a balanced daily schedule that includes quiet and active, indoor and outdoor, fine and gross motor activities.
