Job summary

Sylvania seeks a Preschool Teacher Aide to assist in planning, evaluation and instruction of child development and school readiness skills in our classrooms. The role includes supporting programming and related functions aligned with NC RESA preschool curriculum and philosophy.

This is a school-year, non-union position with locations including White Cloud and Hesperia programs. The ideal candidate assists in implementing curriculum and supports teachers in all classroom activities.

Job description

The Preschool Teacher Aide is responsible for assisting the classroom teacher in all aspects of planning, evaluation and instruction of child development/school readiness skills as assessed appropriate to the needs of the children enrolled in the program. The Aide will also assist the teacher as appropriate in all programming and related functions relevant to the developmental/educational program for the child enrollees in his/her classroom; and assist in the integration of all required components in accordance with the NC RESA preschool curriculum and philosophy.

This is a school-year/non-union position. Locations will include White Cloud and Hesperia programs.
