Calvary Christian Childcare (CCC) is seeking a nurturing, energetic, and faith-driven Preschool Lead Teacher to join our dedicated team. At CCC, we provide a loving, Christ-centered environment where children can grow spiritually, socially, emotionally, and academically. We are looking for a passionate early childhood educator who is committed to helping young learners reach important developmental milestones while teaching biblical principles and values.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement engaging, interactive learning programs for preschool-aged children
• Establish and maintain a safe, structured, and loving classroom environment
• Enforce classroom rules and model appropriate behavior
• Provide tools and resources for creative play and hands-on learning
• Adapt teaching methods and materials to suit the interests and learning styles of individual children
• Build strong, respectful relationships with children and their families
• Plan and manage daily classroom routines including lessons, meals, play, and rest time
• Track and assess each child's developmental progress and share updates with parents
• Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting classroom space
• Guide children in developing social skills and positive peer interactions
• Supervise children at all times to ensure safety
• Maintain classroom materials and supply inventory
• Lead age-appropriate songs, games, storytelling, and Bible lessons
• Collaborate with fellow staff to create and follow weekly lesson plans
• Follow all health, safety, and sanitation procedures
• Joyfully incorporate Christian values into daily teaching and uphold the beliefs and standards of Calvary Christian Childcare
  
  

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a licensed childcare or preschool setting preferred
• CDA, Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred
• Strong classroom management and organizational skills
• Passion for working with young children in a Christ-centered environment
• Ability to communicate effectively with children, parents, and team members
• Must be comfortable teaching Bible lessons in alignment with Calvary Christian's faith and values
• CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire)
