Job summary

Primrose School at Standley Lake in Arvada, Colorado is seeking a caring Preschool Teacher to join our team. We follow the Balanced Learning curriculum to nurture curiosity, confidence, independence and a lifelong love of learning.

You’ll create a warm classroom, support children's development, collaborate with a strong teaching team, and communicate with families about daily experiences and milestones. Our school is committed to an inclusive, supportive environment where teachers are valued.

Qualifications

• Experience in early childhood education or preschool classroom preferred.
• Strong communication, teamwork and classroom management skills.

• Communicate with families about their child’s daily experiences, milestones, and progress.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming classroom.
• Work collaboratively with your teaching team and school leadership.
• Follow all school policies, health and safety procedures, and Colorado childcare licensing requirements.

What We’re Looking For

• A genuine love for working with preschool-aged children.
• Previous experience in early childhood education or a preschool classroom preferred.
• Colorado Early Childhood Teacher (ECT) qualifications preferred, or a willingness to work toward meeting applicable qualifications.
• Strong communication, teamwork, and classroom management skills.
• Patience, flexibility, reliability, and a positive attitude.
• Someone who is creative, energetic, and excited to make learning fun!
• A commitment to providing a safe, loving, and supportive learning environment for all children.
