Job summary

City Tree Christian School in downtown San Diego is seeking a responsible preschool teacher to guide a group of 10-12 children, integrating best teaching practices with a Christ-centered approach.

We require a minimum of 12 ECE units, and experience with children; part-time position with compensation ranging from $19.00 to $26.00 per hour, based on education and experience. The role offers a collaborative environment within a loving Christian community.

Qualifications

• Preschool teacher must have a minimum of 12 ECE units.
• Child Development Certificate and/or Associates Degree or Bachelor's Degree in Child Development is preferred.
• Experience with children required.

Job description

City Tree Christian School is a wonderful community of teachers, staff, and families working together to educate our children in a loving Christian environment. We are an ethnically and socio-economically diverse school located in downtown San Diego. About 200 students attend our school-age infants through eighth grade. Our school is a member of the Association of Christian Schools International (ACSI) and accredited by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges.

We are seeking a dependable, mature, and responsible person who is able to integrate their love for Christ with their teaching of young children and a staff member who is able to collaborate with other teachers to create an outstanding learning environment. Our preschool operates on a year round calendar.
