Job summary

Precious Cargo Preschool & Childcare is seeking a passionate Lead Preschool Teacher to inspire curiosity and build strong family partnerships. You will create meaningful learning experiences and help children develop essential skills in a supportive, inclusive classroom.

You will plan hands-on lessons with Creative Curriculum, conduct observations with TSGold, and maintain child portfolios while collaborating with a dedicated team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Associate's degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or related field.
• Oregon Registry Step 8 or higher.
• CPR and First Aid certification.
• Food Handler's Card.
• Strong communication, organization, and classroom management skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement engaging, developmentally appropriate lessons using Creative Curriculum.
• Create a nurturing, inclusive classroom that supports every child's needs.
• Conduct observations and assessments using TSGold.
• Maintain documentation, portfolios, and developmental records.
• Foster positive behavior and social-emotional growth through relationship-based teaching.
• Partner with families through ongoing communication, conferences, and activities.
• Collaborate with coaches, specialists, and team members to support student success.
• Ensure compliance with Preschool Promise, licensing regulations, and program requirements.
• Participate in professional development and coaching.
