Job summary

The Raritan Bay Area YMCA in Perth Amboy, NJ is seeking a caring Preschool Teacher with NJ P-3/CE/CEAS certification to lead developmentally appropriate activities for children ages 3-5. The role involves collaboration with the Perth Amboy Board of Education and delivering a quality educational experience.

You will create a safe, nurturing classroom, plan age-appropriate lessons, track progress, and engage families while upholding YMCA values in a community-focused program serving 6,000+ members.

Qualifications

• Experience teaching Pre-K; daycare or early childhood classroom experience preferred.
• Certification in CPR, First Aid, and AED, or willingness to obtain them immediately upon hire.
• Bachelor’s in Early Childhood Education with NJ P-3, CE, or CEAS certification is required.

Join our team in Perth Amboy, NJ, five miles from New York City, serving a community of 6,000+ members through youth development, healthy living, and social responsibility programs.

The RBAYMCA's Preschool operates in collaboration with the Perth Amboy, New Jersey Board of Education and currently serves children through five classrooms, delivering a high-quality, developmentally appropriate educational experience.
