Job summary

Abram's Angels Academy is seeking a caring Preschool Teacher to create a safe, engaging learning environment for young children near Orlando, FL. You will plan developmentally appropriate activities that support social, emotional, physical, and cognitive growth while building strong relationships with families and staff.

Responsibilities include supervising children, maintaining records, following licensing requirements, and collaborating with teammates to provide meaningful, play-based learning

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• DCF 45 Hours completed or willing to complete within timeframe.
• Ability to pass a Level 2 Background Screening.
• CPR and First Aid certification or willingness to obtain.
• Ability to meet all state licensing requirements.

• Plan and implement age-appropriate lesson plans and activities.
• Lead circle time, small groups, and learning centers.
• Support children's social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development.
• Maintain a clean, organized classroom environment.
• Observe and document children's progress and milestones.
• Communicate regularly with parents about their child’s day and development.
• Assist with daily routines: meals, toileting, handwashing, rest.
• Maintain attendance and classroom records.
• Follow all licensing regulations and center policies.
• Encourage positive behavior and model social skills.
• Prepare classroom materials in advance.
• Participate in staff meetings and professional development.
• Collaborate with other teachers and administration.
• Perform light cleaning to sanitize toys and areas.
• Ensure playground/classroom supervision ratios are met.
• Create a welcoming environment for children and families.

Abram's Angels Academy is seeking a caring, energetic, and dependable Preschool Teacher to create a safe, nurturing, and engaging learning environment for young children. The ideal candidate will plan and implement age-appropriate activities that support children's social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development while maintaining positive relationships with families and staff. Teachers are responsible for classroom management, daily documentation, supervising children, and ensuring compliance with all licensing and safety requirements. We are looking for a team player who is passionate about early childhood education and committed to helping children learn through play, exploration, and meaningful experiences.

What You'll Do

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Must be at least 18 years of age
